Employee Orientation (PowerPoint)

As the front desk manager of the Essex Inn, you want to make a presentation to your new employees about all of the amenities your hotel offers its guests as well as information on activities and dining in the area. The purpose of this presentation is to enable employees to answer the many questions that are asked by the guests about both the hotel and the town (O'Leary, PP1.85) . How many slides will your presentation have? What information will be presented in each slide? What are the tools that you will use? Please reply to this post with a minimum of 5 sentences.

My slide would consist of an introduction with my name as well as a few other people that are highly favorable , It would also consist of general information as far as when my company was built exactly what we expect from our staff as well as our guest. What restaurants we have at the hotel and also The other amenities(such as the pool ,and free wifi) that we offer to our guest would be listed somewhere and my powerpoint would consist of 9 pages.

  2. If I was the manager looking to do a presentation I would use PowerPoint for that purpose. PowerPoint have a lot of cool tool and options that can make your presentation fun and interesting so that employees or whomever your audience is wont lose focus and be bored. In this PowerPoint I would touch base on the things that stands out more to our guest and makes our company different from the others, I would use roughly about six to nine slides to do my presentation lasting about 5-8 mins long.

  3. This presentation will have about 10-12 slides. Most people ask the same questions and I want to make sure I cover the most frequently asked questions from guests. The content will include amenities of the facilities, the room set up, rates for the hotel rooms, how payment is set up, whether or not we offer complimentary continental breakfast, amount of guests allotted in rooms, how often rooms are serviced, when regular check-in time is, when regular check out time is, attractions that are close by the hotel, contact information for further questions. I would also include a section for the employees to voice and questions or concerns. I would use the insert picture tool to further help employee visualize what's being presented. I would also include a short video of how to respond to guests' questions in a courteous manner.

  4. As the front desk manager, the purpose of my presentation is to inform all new employees about the amenities offered at the hotel, as well as activities and dining area information. The first couple of slides would highlight the amenities offered. It would also detail the specifics as to hours of operation, benefits as to why our amenities stand out compared to others. I would offer pictures of examples of amenities offered. I would then have a slide per activity. That way I could point out the specifics as to what is entailed per each activity. Another slide would feature who the activities are targeting as far as age group, and/or gender specifics. Lastly, the dining information would inform who is offered the dining area and hours of operations, as well as pricing and what foods are available to our guests.

  5. Rough draft of my power point presentation, for presenting the joys of visiting Essex Inn.
    To begin my first slide would be a welcoming slide with all the bells and whistles.
    The second slide would include basic information about the hotel.
    My third slide would be the fun stuff this slide would include the amenities that the hotel has to offer. For example, an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, fitness center and internet café, among many other amenities.
    My fourth slide of course would be special information regarding adult only activities like happy hour and dancing with a kids club available for adults to able to have peace of mind.
    Lastly my fifth and last slide would be information about the amusement parks and sightseeing activities near by the hotel.
    If my hotel management allows I could add a last slide with a promotion code for them to come back and stay with us at a discounted rate, as a thank you for staying with us.

  6. First my slide would include an Introduction. The purpose of my slide presentation is to inform all employees and our guests about new amenities at the hotel like more pools in different areas, new places inside for dining and more activities. My slides would include pictures of every new amenities and detailed information.It will be around 5 to 6 slides with all kinds of new information like activities for every age, kiddies pool and area,prices and more everything available for our guests.

  7. As the Front Desk Manager, My presentation would provide information about Essex Inn. My first slide would begin with the hotel's name and a picture. My second slide would be about the hotel's history and how it became Essex Inn. I would provide information on how fun is our hotel and the many amenities we have.
    Our guest will know on our many activities that we have for them to enjoy as a family. Lastly, I would end the PowerPoint with a slide that will have information on discount for them to come back and enjoy the amazingly Essex Inn Hotel!

  9. As the front desk manager of the Essex Inn, I would use PowerPoint to showcase all the amenities that are involved with the hotel. I would start by introducing the visitors with information on the foundation and history of the hotel. Then I would begin to explain all the hotel policy and rules for new guest. The other slides would consist of the luxury that our hotel presents, and the pricing of all the indoor stores. I would include the scheduled times set for things such as breakfast, the pool closing time, and the noise limit. Finally I would put in pictures of all the different sites in the hotel both inside and outside, and also locate a map and contact information if necessary.

As the front desk manager of the Essex Inn, I am making a presentation to show the new employees about the amenities that this hotel has to offer not only the guests but also information on the activities and dining in the area. My presentation will have about 6 to 8 slides. Some of the information I would include is background information about the hotel including when it was established and how long it took for it to build its reputation that it has today. I would also include the prices and any package deals available, along with what the hotel has to offer as in gyms, dining options, play rooms, nearby attractions etc. The rules and regulations for both the employees and the guests will be available in the presentation as well as the requirements to keep up the good name of the hotel. I would include a nice background to catch everyone’s attention along with bullets to elaborate each statement made. By the end of my presentation, any questions from the guests and or employees should be answered.

As the front desk manager, my presentation would consist of information that will inform all of the new employees about what is offered at the hotel, as well as all the different activities and dining area information. The first slide will include a picture and name of the hotel. Then I will go along with explaining more in details what's all offered. By doing so I will use bullets and numbering patterns. I also will include things like business hours . All together my PowerPoint will include about 7-10 slides going into more details about what is offered.
